Sara's Promises

Promises when elected:

• I promise that I will push ACHD to divest itself of property acquired in forced sales or eminent domain that is unused for street/sidewalks. This property must get back on the tax rolls.


• I promise that I will work to ensure every tax dollar entrusted to ACHD will be spent carefully and with a clear recognition that it is not ACHD's dollar -- it's yours!


• I promise that property owners, citizens and neighborhood associations will have input on roadway designs before they are finalized.


• I promise that I will talk with the cities in Ada County rather than sue them.


• I promise that adopted transportation plans will be followed.


• I promise that transportation planning will complement and not drive land use planning.


• I promise to work with the community to develop Ada County’s transportation plans.


• I promise not to create gridlock by scheduling multiple construction projects in the same area.
